Pressure Washing Safety Awareness

Introduction

This half-day course provides an introduction to the safe use of pressure washers. It is relevant to any persons using pressure washers in maritime or shore-based settings.

The course can be tailored to suit customers' particular requirements and can be delivered at their location, by arrangement.

The course cover a range of topics relevant to pressure washer safety, including:

  • Health and safety regulations
  • Safe working practices
  • Protective clothing and equipment
  • Types of pressure washer and associated equipment
  • Safe use of chemicals
  • Testing and maintenance recording
  • Incidents and problems

Delivery

This is a half-day course delivered at the NAFC Marine Centre, or at the customer's site using their equipment.

NOTE: For taught course delivery outside Shetland the lecturer's travel and other expenses will be charged in addition to these fees.
